The Taxi from the Underworld

I drive a taxi on the most deadly route. Five drivers from our company have died on that road, and no one dared to drive it after that. The manager planned to shut it down, but I stepped in. The reason is simple: it’s a long, winding mountain road, and the pay is high. I drove safely for a few weeks with nothing happening. But soon, someone couldn’t sit still anymore. Just as I was about to start my shift, a man stopped me.
